Nokia has recently announced a significant change in its brand identity, which includes a new logo, after almost 60 years of maintaining its iconic image. The telecom equipment maker has decided to shift its focus towards aggressive growth and aims to adapt to the rapidly changing market.

The new logo consists of five different shapes that come together to form the word “NOKIA,” replacing the famous blue color with a range of colors depending on the use. The company unveiled its new brand identity at MWC, marking the first major redesign of its logo since its founding in 1865 as a single paper mill operation.

As Nokia partners with major technology firms to sell private 5G networks and gear for automated factories, the company plans to review the growth path of its various businesses and consider alternatives, including divestment.
